Q: How long does it take for me to a get a refund?

A: Once we receive your return, please allow up to 7 business days to process your request. When your return has been processed you will receive an email notification that your refund was processed. Depending on your bank, the refund may take an additional 5-7 business days to post to your account.

Q: Will eyebolts hurt my trees?

A: No, eyebolts will not affect the health of the tree, but it will leave a hole however. We recommend using tree straps or good UV resistant rope rated for the correct weight. This will also allow you to move your chair or hammock from place to place easily. It also helps in adjusting the height without putting additional holes in your tree.

Q: Which Chair, Swing or Hammock is best for me?

A: This is entirely based on ones idea of comfort. Everyone’s idea of comfort is slightly different, that is why we offer so many models to choose from. Many of our customers have seen our products previously at major trade shows around North America, namely, Home & Garden, Boating, & Camping retail trade shows, along with a host of Festivals, Music venues as well as Street Fairs, making decision making easy. If you have questions, please email us, and we will do our best to put you in the product that we feel would suit you best based on your individual needs, which will be determined after a few questions we would pose to you for your feedback.

Q: Do you sell Hammock or Chair Stands?

A: We do not currently sell hammock stands, but our hammocks are compatible with many of the stands out there on the market. 

Because not all hammocks and hammock stands are made alike, it is important to make sure that the specs of the stand you are considering match the specs of our Hammock.

Kindly view our specs for hammock size to determine compatibility. We however do carry a C Frame made out of steel that will adequately suspend any chairs in our hanging chair line, kindly view the accessory page for more information. We also have a Roman Arc made of wood,

Q: I have a Hammock stand already. Are your Hammocks compatible with my Hammocks stand? 

A: Since not all stands and hammocks are made alike, you want compare the specs of the stand with the hammock. If your stand is more than 12 ft. long, you could possibly use rope or chain to make up for the extra length as long as you stand is not too low to the ground (under 3.5 ft.).

Q: Do your Hammocks include hanging hardware?

A: Each hammock is extremely easy to hang in a number of different settings (on your porch or patio, in your backyard between 2 trees, and even in your living room if your ceiling or beams can support the installation!). The hammocks do not come with any specific hanging hardware since each person has their own way of hanging it. We do offer hanging accessories including hammock straps. You can also use rope or hardware from your local hardware store. Just let them know you are hanging a hammock and they can help you find the right hardware!

Q: Does SwingsAndChairs.com ship to P.O. Boxes or Military APO/FPO addresses?

A:  We can ship via USPS, however it is not our standard carrier. USPS will indeed deliver to P.O. Boxes and Military APO/FPO addresses, so if you were wanting this type of service, please email us for a cost estimate and we will kindly provide you with a shipping cost prior to you placing your order. Please provide the shipping address in the email so we can offer you an accurate rate quote ASAP

Q: How much does shipping and handling cost?

A:  We offer free shipping to any destination within continental United States. Hawaii, Alaska, and Territories are a flat rate of $18.00 via ground service with either UPS or Fedex.

Shipping to Canada is a flat $18 charge.

Although our standard free shipping is normally very quick, we will guarantee delivery 5-7 business days. Sometimes we can get it to you within 2-3 business days depending on your proximity. If there is any delays, you will be notified.

Q: Can I expedite my order?

A: . If you need expedited service, please email us to determine if we can meet your needs, and will provide you with a cost estimate for the expedited service.
